Bed bugs or Cimicidae
love us for our body heat and the carbon dioxide we exhale. This makes it easy for them to find us and bite at exposed body parts. This usually happens during sleep or late sittings in front of the TV/computer. It is important to mention that not everyone may have an allergic reaction to a bed bug bite. The marks can also be mistaken for a mosquito or spider bite. Typically, bed bug bites run in a line, semicircle or circle, depending on the size of the blood vessel. The first stage bed bug feeds in about 2 minutes and usually bites only once. The adult bed bug feeds for 10 to as long as 20 minutes, changing bite sites up to 5 times. People react differently to bites starting with anaphylactic shock to a miniature dot on the body. We usually realize that we are living with bedbugs when their population is already several dozen individuals. Then independent extermination is not enough and you have to call a professional company to carry out the treatment. We recommend ULV treatment, which is the cheapest and very effective if you follow the instructions of our technicians. It is possible to get rid of bed bugs after the first treatment, but we recommend a minimum of 2 treatments (3 in the book). However, it is worth remembering that the administrator of the building should be notified about the pest control, as our neighbours may have a problem and the bugs may be coming from them to our apartment. Let's cooperate to get rid of them from the buildings.
Check the bed (mattress, bed box, headboard) and surrounding area 2m. Look for droppings (black dots) or individuals from 1mm to 6mm.
Do we see small brown dots on bedding after a night.
Are the bites in line after a night and do they itch for several days? They even occur after a few days.
Is the bite a once a week or several times a week bite.
If you find a bug, it's best to take a clear picture of it to identify the insect.
